When my son Theo was seven he found that he could draw figures from ellipses.  Most were sports action figures but now and then he branched out.  This one made me wonder about the development of a child's view of a parent's point of view.

It would be interesting to explore relations among parent attachment representations, parent talk (e.g., "You were so cute"),  child attachment security, and how child   represents parent talk.  It would also be  interesting to look at links between parent talk, child self-definition, and child's understanding that parent's have a point of view and what it is.

Who wouldn't read an article entitled "Attachment as a context for socializing self- image and theory of mind"?
